Leaker ranking: Lolilolailo (high) › NateTheHate (medium) › eXtas1s (low)

Atlus admitted the leaks were real — but only in general. A “next franchise entry” got pulled out of their servers by an unauthorized third party, and the studio confirmed that happened. What they did not do is point at any specific leaked image and say “yes, that one’s accurate.” So you’re left sorting credible leaks from fan guesses on your own.

That’s what the tracker above is for. Here’s how to read it.

The one-line takeaway: Almost nothing about Persona 6 is officially confirmed. The “facts” floating around Reddit are leaks of different quality, from different people, with very different track records.

How to weigh a Persona 6 leak

Not all leakers are equal. The chain of custody on the big June 2026 leak ran through Chinese social media (RedNote / Xiaohongshu) into ResetEra and then everywhere else. Three names keep coming up:

  • Lolilolailo — highest credibility here. Vouched on ResetEra, sourced the blonde-protagonist images and the September 2027 window.
  • NateTheHate — reliable in general, but stays vague on P6 specifics.
  • eXtas1s — contested. Source of the dual-protagonist and “feature complete” claims, both of which others have pushed back on.

💡 Rule of thumb: if a claim traces only to eXtas1s and nobody corroborates it, treat it as low-confidence. If Lolilolailo and others line up, it’s worth taking seriously.

What’s actually leaked (and how solid it is)

Blonde male protagonist — Medium-high. Multiple leaked images point to a blonde lead, which would be a series first. Sourced by Lolilolailo. This is the most credible leak on the board.

“Karaki Tōma” as the protagonist’s name — Almost certainly a misread. The leaked filename 唐本冬馬 belongs to character file cha03, not the protagonist (cha01, who is literally labeled 主人公 / “unnamed hero”). So the blonde lead is not named Karaki Tōma — that name got stapled to the wrong character by people skimming the leak. See the protagonist tracker for the full myth-bust.

Yokohama setting — Low-medium. Based on a single leaked subway-station sketch that fans matched to Yokohama. It’s an inference, not a label. Could be right, could be wrong.

Dual protagonists — Contested. eXtas1s floated two playable leads; newer leaks (Lolilolailo) suggest the blonde boy is the sole protagonist. The trend has been walking this one back.

~September 2027 release window — Single-source rumor (Lolilolailo). Atlus has given no date and won’t until after Persona 4 Revival ships Feb 18, 2027. Treat Sept 2027 as a target someone heard, not a date. More on the release date page.

“Feature complete” — Low. eXtas1s claim that the game is far along and basically done. Unverified, single-source.

Green as the main color — ✅ This one panned out. A pre-reveal rumor called the theme color green, and the teaser confirmed it (toxic neon green over a gothic graveyard). Green continues the series convention: P3 blue, P4 yellow, P5 red, P6 green.

Switch 2 version — None announced. Not a denial, just silence. Confirmed platforms are PS5, Steam, and Xbox.

The one confirmed thing the teaser handed us

The official Xbox store blurb is real, official, and tells you the vibe: Persona 6 leans into “strange rumors, unsettling urban legends, and occult incidents” while you “live a double life in modern-day Japan.” Darker and more horror-tinged than P5’s heist-cool energy — but the school-life-plus-supernatural skeleton stays. That’s confirmed, not leaked. Everything else above is still rumor.

FAQ

Are the Persona 6 leaks real? Partly. Atlus confirmed leaks happened via a network intrusion, but never validated any specific leaked image or design. So the leaks are “real” as a category — individual claims still vary wildly in credibility.

Is the Persona 6 protagonist blonde? Leaked images point to a blonde male protagonist, which would be a series first. It’s the most credible leak right now (medium-high), but Atlus hasn’t confirmed it.

Is Persona 6 set in Yokohama? Maybe. The Yokohama rumor comes from one leaked subway sketch fans matched to the city. It’s a low-medium inference, not an official setting reveal.

Is there a Persona 6 release date leak? A single source (Lolilolailo) reported a ~September 2027 target. Atlus has confirmed no date and won’t share one until Persona 4 Revival launches Feb 18, 2027.

Will Persona 6 be on Switch 2? No Switch 2 version has been announced. Confirmed platforms are PS5, Steam, and Xbox. The silence isn’t a denial — just nothing yet.

Who leaked Persona 6? The big leak traced through Chinese social media (RedNote) to ResetEra. Lolilolailo is the most-trusted source; eXtas1s claims are the most contested.
