Persona 6 is coming to PS5, Steam, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, and Xbox Cloud — and it’s day one on Game Pass. That’s all confirmed by Atlus and Xbox.

This is a big deal for the series: it’s the first mainline Persona to launch on PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam at the same time. No more waiting a year for the PC port or the Xbox version. Everybody plays day one.

What you can’t do yet: pre-order. There are no pre-orders — only wishlists.

Day-one Game Pass (console + PC)✅ Yes
Xbox Play Anywhere✅ Yes

The Game Pass angle

If you have Xbox Game Pass or PC Game Pass, Persona 6 lands in the library on launch day at no extra cost. You don’t buy it separately.

On top of that, it’s an Xbox Play Anywhere title: buy it once (or grab it via Game Pass) and play on both Xbox console and PC, with your saves and progress carrying across. Start on the couch, continue on your gaming laptop.

💡 If you’re deciding how to play: Game Pass is the cheapest entry point by far. If you’d rather own it outright, wishlist it on your store of choice and decide closer to launch.

How to wishlist (no pre-orders yet)

There’s no pre-order for Persona 6 — Atlus has only opened wishlists. Wishlisting just flags your interest and pings you when there’s news or a release date.

  • Xbox — wishlist is live on the official Xbox store page.
  • Steam — wishlist available / rolling out.
  • PS5 — wishlist available / coming.

⚠️ Heads up: Persona 4 Revival did open pre-orders the same day. That’s a different game. Persona 6 is wishlist-only for now.

Is it on Switch 2?

No Switch 2 version has been announced. That’s not a denial — Atlus simply hasn’t said anything either way. Given the series’ history on Nintendo hardware, a later port wouldn’t be shocking, but right now it’s pure speculation. See the Leaks & Rumors tracker for where that talk stands.
